The State Level Navodaya's Social Science Olympiad (NSSO) is an examination of knowledge and expertise in History, Geography, and Civics which is held yearly at the state and school levels and the syllabus for this Olympiad is based on CBSE/ICSE or state board and the State Boards. The (NSSO) Olympiad tests not only the students academically but also their decision making, creative thinking, and critical analyzing capabilities.

State Level Navodaya's Social Science Olympiad (NSSO) tests our proficiency level in History, Geography, Civics conducted by Navodaya for class 1-10. This is a two level examination. NSSO is conducted in two days schools can choose the date as per their convenience.

    Navodaya (NSSO) Exam 2019 Application Form:

    Navodaya Educational Society & Welfare Committee (NES&WC) is now open for the NSSO 2019-20 registrations. The registration form will be sent to registered schools and children who are interested to write NSSO 2019-20 should register from their respective schools. No individual registrations are encouraged.

  • Application form fee: The Navodaya NSSO Exam 2019-20 form fee for regular entry is 70/- Rupees.

    Navodaya NSSO Exam 2019-20 Syllabus:
    • Subject for the contest/ QP pattern:
    • For Classes 1st  To 5th       - Environmental  Science
    • For Classes 6th  To 10th     - Social Science
    • Syllabus                                 - Current Cass syllabus will be applicable. 
    • Question paper pattern       - Multiple choice questions (4 options)

  • Distribution: After the announcement on the official website of the Navodaya NSSO 2019-20 Admit Card will be distributed. After getting the admit card students have       to carry that in the examination hall which is mandatory.
  • Information: Admit card contains the details like a student's Name, Father/Mother Name, session, date and many more along with the rules and regulations&nbs          mentioned by the board.
  • After downloading the Navodaya NSSO Admit Card/Hall Ticket please check whether the p;information provided in the Admit Card is correct or not.

    Fees Structure for NSSO 2019-20 Exams:

    For School level:
    The fee of participation for the school level NSSO Exam 2019-20 is Rs.70/- per student.
    For State level:
    The fee of participation for the State Level NSSO Exam 2019-20 is Rs.150/- per student.
    Payment Mode
    For Payment mode in India please refer to the NSSO Registration Form. In India, the schools should pay through Demand Draft or online transfer for society account.


    NSSO 2019-20 Exams Dates and Venue:
  • The State Level Navodaya's Social Science Olympiad (NSSO) will be held on 15th January 2020 - 20 February 2020
  • The Venue of the State Level Navodaya's Social Science Olympiad will be the center in your district.
  • The Awards and prizes will be sent to the school itself within 3-4 weeks after the Result is declared on the official website.

    Navodaya NSSO Exam 2019-20 Results:

    Navodaya will publish;NSSO 2019-20 results in March (Tentative). The time interval to published the Navodaya Foundation resultsis about 45-60 days.

    Navodaya NSSO 2019-20 Eligibility Criteria:
  • All students studying in Class 1st to Class 10th are eligible to apply through their school.
  • Students must be studying Social Studies subjects i.e. History, Geography and Civics

    Navodaya NSSO 2018 Application Process:
  • The application form of Navodaya NSSO 2019-20 is available on online mode at the official website. Students can register with their school for Navodaya NSSO 2019-20.
  • Schools participating in Navodaya NSSO 2018 need to fill students’ participation form mentioning School code, class, section and name of students.
  • The last date of application is JAN 7,2019-20 for Social Studies Olympiad.
  • The fee for participation in Navodaya Olympiad is Rs. 70/- per student.
